Cross Country Skiing

Those who are addicted to cross-country skiing have two great options in Grossarltal.

The Grossarl trail leads from Grossarl to the Kösslerhäusl local history museum and the Hüttschlag trail from Hüttschlag-Innere Wolfau to the head of the valley with the “Talwirt” national park inn.

If you still feel like unpacking your cross-country skis in the tranquil winter landscape of Grossarltal, the night trails are available: one is open directly in Grossarl and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. The second is in Hüttschlag at the Aschaustüberl and is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Cross-country skiing needs to be learned and so we also have the opportunity to take part in courses for beginners or experts.
