Hiking in the Salzburg Region

Over 250 kilometers of marked hiking trails safely guide hikers to the huts and alpine pastures and invite you to embark on multi-day tours. Those who enjoy hiking in groups or don’t feel familiar enough with the area are welcome to join the free guided mountain tours three times a week and learn interesting facts about nature from the National Park ranger.
For those who’d like to start their hike at around 1,850 m, we recommend taking the Großarltal Panorama Cable Car or the Hochbrand Gondola.
