Climbing & Mountaineering

Thanks to the Hohe Tauern, climbing is also possible in the Großarl Valley. You can choose from four via ferrata routes:

Kupfergeist
Gletschergoaß
Franzl in Hüttschlag and
Bella Cascinaia in Großarl.

Fishing

Here in the Großarl Valley, the Großarler Ache River creates a magnificent fishing paradise. The clear mountain and glacier water provide an excellent habitat for native fish.

Großarl Leisure Center

At the Großarl Recreation Center, you can rent tennis courts, play beach volleyball, or simply enjoy a round of mini-golf. There is also a soccer field with artificial turf and an adventure pool available.
